Six Flags Hurricane Harbor opened in 2005 adjacent to Six Flags Great America. Originally a 25 Acre waterpark was to have opened across I-94 but due to Financial issues and other obstacles, the park failed to be built. The park was originally going to be separate admission but was changed at the last minute. The waterpark is located on 13 acres on former Bus-Parking Area. The Parks capacity is 7,100 People as of 2010.
