The Johnny Rockets restaurant located in County Fair has operated since 1976. It is situated to the left of Wiggles World.

Johnny Rockets originally was originally built as "Burgers on the Run", which had a Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote theme. Some of this theming was still seen until 2007. For example, a clock that used Road Runner's legs as clock hands was located at the entrance to the restaurant. Burgers on the Run served the standard hamburgers and hot dogs served at many of the other eateries within the park, Marriott used the names "Road Runner Hamburgers", "Wile E. Coyote Cheeseburgers", and "Tweety Hot Dogs" for the food. The park changed Burgers on the Run's name to "Wascal's" sometime in the 1990s, but the menu was essentially unchanged.

In 2007, Six Flags made a marketing deal with the Johnny Rockets chain of burger restaurants, and converted Wascal's into an "express-version" of Johnny Rockets. The menu consists of the burgers and milk shakes made by Johnny Rockets restaurants.
